Pinhole Pics

I’ve always liked the unpredictable and abstract when it comes to pictures and photos so I made a pinhole lens cap for my Canon EOS 350D and the results are great. You have to use a long shutter speed of course usually between (2s and 10s depending on available light). The images have a eerie dreamlike quality to them and you can never really tell how they will turn out.

New painting

2 entries onto my blog in one day!… I’m going to have to go and lie down.
I’m not very good with a camera so I struggled to snap this but to give you an idea I did one with a flash so you can kind of see how much of a sheen the PVA/acrylic mix gives it.

Odds and ends

Some paintings that I found when I was clearing out my spare room that I did a while back. In fact I actually liked the paper I was leaning on more than some of the paintings, so I’ve photographed those as well! :)

Kandinsky

I was aware of his work before but since going to NYC and seeing his stuff at the Guggenheim I’ve been discovering some amazing stuff.
I am excited that the poster that I bought will be framed and ready to pick up on Tuesday.
Guess which one I’ve got framed?

What a great bike ride!

Another hidden charm of this occasionally beautiful country.
